Die Geschichte der Band beginnt Anfang des Jahrtausends, als man sich auf der Highschool trifft und Blink-182-Songs covert. Aus dem urspünglichen Bandnamen „NeverReck“ wird All Time Low. Diesen Namen haben sie wiederum einem Song der Punkband New Found Glory („Head On Collision) entnommen.
Nach einer ersten EP erscheint 2005 das Debütalbum „The Party Scene“, zwei Jahre später folgt das erfolgreiche „So wrong, it`s right“. Für das neue Werk, das Ende 2008 eingespielt wurde, arbeitete man mit Mark Hoppus von Blink 182 zusammen. Und das zeigt die Band gereift als Geschwister der Jimmy Eat World oder Plain White T`s. Dafür gab`s dann auch schon mal in der „Washington Post“ Lob: „That doesn`t mean older listeners won`t find songs to love here – they may just roll up the car windows as they blast tunes like „Lost In Stereo“, which has an almost impossible-to-get-out-of-your-head chrous...if you`re looking for summertime fun with hints of the Go-Gos or the Romantics, then step right up and enjoy.“
